"Hi, my name is Kim. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei 5 years ago. I have lost a lot of weight since then. I have had 5 major surgeries. I lost most of my colon, parts of my small intestines, 1/4 of my liver, both sides of my diaphragm, spleen, both of my ovaries, uterus, part of my bladder and my rectum. I lost my hair due to chemo. It left me with scars and stretch marks everywhere and gave me a temporary colostomy. I am not embarassed with everything that cancer has done to me because I'm still alive and making the best of it. Some people would think I'm miserable, but even if I am, I chose not to be 😊"
She is a real fighter..!!
